Yikess, you're just confusing him more. Cause I told him what to do on here. Then I sent him a text message that said "Kiss my.....and I sent him a PM that said "Jump off a........." then I left him a voice mail that said "Step off homey".....so, you can see, you're gonna have to tell him which advice to take and be very specific.

A'ite DD, we now come to the real advice portion of today's thread.

If you think you're ever gonna wanna pull cranks with this Terrova, then 36V 101 is THE ONLY WAY to go.

Now, if you're not, then 24V 80# will be plenty to hold you on a spot for hours on end except on the worstest of wind days. Mine will tote my boat at 3.5mph and it's a stinkin pack mule sled at about 3K pounds with a very deep keel and a lot of surface drag. I'd be very surprised if the same motor on your boat wouldn't pull 3+ mph and probably more.

Also, the 27s will be OK with the 80# for spider rigging and easing around spot to spot and should be able to fish you all day long. 31s would be ideal, or 29s would be better, but the 27s would be OK until the play out, then by all means, step up in size as large as you can go.

    Yes on the I-pilot.

Yes on the US2, but if you want to save the $, since you're running a H'bird, running the ducer cable down the keyway is very clean and won't be a problem either.

There, now back to giving you a hard time for no apparent reason and without any helpful info.

I dont really know a whole lot about this either.....butttttt....im with the ones that said as the batteries wear out go bigger. And on that I can say on my behalf that the "Blue Top Optima" has not let me down. I do know they PRICEY but I lucked up and mine was in boat when I got it. Its a 18' Express, 80 lb MK, and I dont know if Ive ever took the meter down half way in one day.....That's my TWO CENTS thats worth about a HALF A PENNY

2008, do you pull cranks with your trolling motor? That's the real test.
