Maj if you get some scrap lead I can melt it, clean it and pour it in a mold to make you a set of nice anchors at no cost...I can make them as heavy or as light as you want. The are like the mushroom style but not as tall and work great. Just need the lead.

IF I'm throwing out in the spawn with a cork and minners, I want to stay put. I have a 10 pound anchor, Guess it's made for the river, just a big bell looking thing that I keep in storage and use it when needed which ain;t often

FYI, an anchor is a safety item. In heavy wind and if your motor becomes disabled, it can be your only hope for saving your boat.

I use one quite often when I am using a boat...find a good spot and anchor...one pole fishing. There are usually lots of fish around one area of cover. I use tractor weight as an anchor...they are the big weight that they add to the fron of the trctor to hold the front end down when working with a heavy load on the rear or plowing deep. These are hung on a bar on the nose of the tractor...yellow in color.

Got a couple in the back of the truck. Took them out of the boat when I got my i-pilot. Just push the spot lock button now.

Feelay, I'm studying real hard now on the Terrova with I-pilot. In your experience so far, are there any drawbacks or anything negative about it? What about the foot control, I've seen some complaints about it.

I never use the foot control. It sucks, but in a pinch is usable. The only negative to the Terrova, or any other electric steer, in my opinion is that there are more things that can go wrong. Cable steers are bullet proof, with electric steer there is a steering motor to worry about breaking. So far, no problems, may never be, time will tell. I love it, as long as it is working.
