Maj....I have been thinking and I also tried out a PD V-2 the other day and loved it. But I think I am going to do like you and go with a Terrova. I might get one for Christmas.

My Terrova was a Christmas present, but didn't show up until mid-january. It sure makes fishing easier especially when I've got company in the boat. I think both of you will like it.

Today just happened to be my birthday but that had nothing to do with getting the Terrova. And, here it is.





I know that's only a box but, believe me (and EZ was at BPS as a witness) there is a Terrova in the box. Didn't get it totally mounted (more executive consultation with feelay, thanks again), but did dismount other TM, removed ducer for 788 (Terrova has US2) and got the quick disconnect mounted to the new TM. (Only reason I got the quick disconnect is the Terrova hangs off the bow approx 6", with the QD I will still be able to close my garage door. Will be at it again tomorrow, hope to even get it wet.

Let me know how the quick disconnect works out. I'd like to be able to pull mine off quickly during duck season.
