I was watching a show/Podcast a couple days ago where a couple different officials were talking on how they were trying to get a bill passed so these WAH government folks in DC could be monitored on their computers by log in, and actual activity, because of the number of govt. officials who never go in to the office. It's like only 2% of Govt. workers who actually go into work every day, like pre Covid. all the rest work remotely, supposedly from home. Excuse me, but Covid has been over for some time. Some of these folks, who were supposed to be at home working have been arrested committing crimes, playing golf, Shopping, etc. all while being on the clock for work on the tax payers dime...Yet one of the excuses I'm given is, "Well, there's such a back log of work and we're short staffed...I my opinion, and it's just that, my opinion, if these folks were actually at Work instead of doing other things when they should be in the office, maybe Actual work would get done, and that back log of work either would not exist, or would be one heck of a lot smaller...
As I stated in the beginning, not all, but there are those that do abuse the system. I am glad your DIL is not one of the abusers...
