Well, Another couple weeks have passed, and Nothing but crickets from the Navy, and the usual Run-a-round from the VA while my claims sit around collecting dust in somebodies in box...Irks me to no end...I can't say all, but there are plenty of Gooberment employee's that should be finding a new place to actually have to work...Just my opinion...

Like the old spiritual song says…
A CHANGE IT IS A COMING..
As the son of a Korean Marine Sargent and the Father of a Marine I agree that our Veterans get the crumbs from the table while others get much better treatment.

    Bon Temps!!!

    Thank you for their Service...
Some folks just don't have any Idea just how frustrating it is. The constant "Hurry up and wait". ...

Thank YOU for your service Mr. Jamesdean and I hope you get a resolution soon. Yes, dealing with the Gooberment can get frustrating very quickly I have some of that going on myself. It amazes me when I hear that 80% plus of federal workers are still working remotely. I hope this gets fixed soon.

You and me both. There is no way of telling how much actually getting done as there is no tracking of actual computer time they are doing. Log in the morning, log out in the evening, and do what ever, not actually working all day in between. Maybe we'll see some progress in the new year. One can only pray.

My DIL works from home in the medical billing/coding department of a hospital system. Her productivity is monitored and tracked daily. I would think the government would also have the ability to monitor remote workers. If not then someone has dropped the ball. Dealing with any government agency is frustrating for sure

I was watching a show/Podcast a couple days ago where a couple different officials were talking on how they were trying to get a bill passed so these WAH government folks in DC could be monitored on their computers by log in, and actual activity, because of the number of govt. officials who never go in to the office. It's like only 2% of Govt. workers who actually go into work every day, like pre Covid. all the rest work remotely, supposedly from home. Excuse me, but Covid has been over for some time. Some of these folks, who were supposed to be at home working have been arrested committing crimes, playing golf, Shopping, etc. all while being on the clock for work on the tax payers dime...Yet one of the excuses I'm given is, "Well, there's such a back log of work and we're short staffed...I my opinion, and it's just that, my opinion, if these folks were actually at Work instead of doing other things when they should be in the office, maybe Actual work would get done, and that back log of work either would not exist, or would be one heck of a lot smaller...
As I stated in the beginning, not all, but there are those that do abuse the system. I am glad your DIL is not one of the abusers...

I received the monthly report from my Lawyers office yesterday...Surely was not surprised to find out my cases did not meet the early payment/settlement offer from them. I wouldn't have accepted anyway as they are just a fraction of what they owe you. Also was told that instead of the court cases starting shortly after the beginning of 2025, we would be lucky to see any movement to the courts before June/July time frame. I surely believe they dragging this out hoping we kick the bucket before they have to pay...I don't understand all the delays. They knew about the contamination decades before it became public. They need to get the people restitution NOW!!!! And I'm not talking the pennies they are wanting to give. And the qualification. Oh you had to be on base for more than a MONTH...If you swallowed ANY of that contaminated water, boiled, cooked with or plain, you should be compensated. Heavy metals ands chemicals are forever!!!!

Hope you have had some movement on your claim, unfortunately it may get worse. Prayers that is not the case as our veterans deserve quick action
