Blue Moon this evening. Reminds me of the classic jazz singer Billie Holiday lyrics:

"Blue moon you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for......"

I look at that blue moon thinking of that:

Cool pictures this evening. For those that don't know, a blue moon is a second full moon in a month. This time also a super moon which at it's closest point to Earth. For some, they may also see the blood moon in the wee hours Wednesday morning during the lunar eclipse. Last time this has happened in the Western Hemisphere is 1866.

Pretty cool I thought.
