Much better now, the ER rooms are packed around here due to the flu going around. Some have said go somewhere else because we're full - an eight hour wait on others. Sucked it up and rode it out. Man, thought the skin on the finger was going to bust open, tight as a drum due to the swelling. I was going to lance it like it did with the black window bite on another finger a couple of years ago (make sure you down the alcohol before you pull out a sharp clean razor before doing that). Didn't do it, rode it out. Wasn't the first time, nor the last I'm sure with the nasty things.

Those copperheads camouflage well under the leaves, and they don't move. All my dogs have been bit by them from under the leaves - get the leaves up.

On another note, Pat Huval of Pat's of Henderson died this past week. His place is legendary as some of you know. I assume his place will remain open - I hope.
