They told me that I had unusual ear canals and that i needed a custom mold thing on the end made to fit my ears .....they said they would make them up at no charge. Kinda made me mad that they did not do that to start with because when the tested and examined me they told me my ear canals were different. I was fed up and told them to give me my money back. I might try again at a later date and go to a different place. But the first few days when they were supposedly working right I really did not think they made much difference....i could hear a little better but I would miss a word here and there. I thought I was hearing better and then I realized people still had to repeat stuff.

I had the same problem with behind the ear ones. I've had the in ear ones for 20 years, never know they are there until one quits. But they are not a cute all. You will still have to ask people to repeat things and struggle in high noise areas like restaurants, just not as much..
