The University closed today due to the storm. So at home I am. Not into watching the television, so got busy. Yours truly will be doing beef jerky this weekend. The sirloin tips sliced nicely once half frozen, trimmed and cut to size. Into a bag with my marinate for a couple of days:
Then on into the smoker for a while, followed by drying in the dehydrator. If I recall, I brought some up for G to try after I finished a batch before a gathering once. Another time, I sent some to Slab. But it spoiled by the time he received it because it wasn't refrigerated. I don't use preservatives like the type they sell at Walmart.
