Ann bought me a small ice maker for me to have in my shop, just installed it. Of course the refrigerator inside has one, but I likes the comforts in my shop. Makes 26 lbs/day if I keep tending to it. The Miller Lite doesn't go in the frig, I like it on ice in a special box I made. Plus the shiners I keep cooled down while on the water - they like ice cool water. This unit is way too cool. Ann and I keep looking at it as it produces the ice. Yes, she hangs out in here because I'm here - that's the way to roll.

What brand ice maker did you get?

An ice maker is kind of like, an air compressor, a forklift, and a front end loader. You wonder how you did without for so long!

You're right Redge, it's an Igloo brand - made in America. It gets after it, impressive. Serious thermodynamics in the design. Ice making current at 1.6 amps, ice harvest at 2.5 amps. Pressure high side at 290 psig, low side at 88 psig. I likes such things.
