Sounds like a good idea, but there will be some kind of minimum monthly charge also.

Will contact our local provider and see about a meter at the building. Had not thought about that option Randy. Thanks for the suggestion. Electrician wanted 2K to run
the wire and install outlets and 30 amp box for the camper. Didn't take that option because I have a friend that will run the wire and do the wiring for free. All I needed
to do was purchase the wire and outlets. Will see what it cost to have meter placed in the shelter on the storage unit for the camper before I do anything.

That's true what Danny said. My provider (SLEMCO) minimum is $8.00 a month. Actually it is probably cheaper than that - $7.00 a month and some change. I participate in the "round-up" program to bring the bill to the next even dollar amount. It helps unfortunate rural folks to pay for their power. Been doing that for 25 years.

One vote after another, we inch closer and closer to the total ruin of Louisiana high school football. The split is real now between the private schools and the public schools. This is totally absurd and absolutely ignorant as far as I am concerned. I know you fellas don't follow things such as this, but I do. Can't help myself, just wanted to vent.

Well, Tri-County Electric wanted 2700.00 big ones and that was just running the wire underground. Getting it done for 1500.00 after shopping around. Voltage drop was
only 4% so I can live with that. Price included material, trenching and installation of outlets, breaker box and switches with florescent lights. Getting a 50 amp outlet
for the RV too.
Wife balked at my selection of bird feeders for the front yard and I can't figger out what her problem is.

Well, you won't have a extra monthly charge for a second meter. I love the feeder.May make my own. A"worm" bucket on a stick, "cajun birdfeeder" sign.
