I guess I am now the neighborhood goat lady. Got a call from a neighbor a couple of days ago wanting to know if I was missing a goat. It had moved in with their horse. I wasn't but said I would check with some other neighbors to see if they were. No one was but one said they would try and get it. Came home during lunch today and there was a note on the door from another neighbor saying they had one of my goats. Again, it wasn't mine and it had disappeared when I called back. Looks like this big male goat is just making his way down the river bank and visiting everyone. Glad I've got a 6 foot fence around my girls.

Life in the country is all I have to say. She comes home from work every day to let the dogs out during lunch. They likes relaxing in the house. Spoiled from the word go. Wouldn't have it any other way.

if that silly goat wandered into half the yards in my neighborhood he would trip and fall into the BBQ pit.Every body knows every body and they know there aint no goats in the hood.

The best is 1 qt fresh squeezed satsuma juice, 1 qt meyers lemon juice, and a 1/5th of satsuma rum. Pour over ice. You can't taste the rum.

The calm between the storms. Zero wind and rain at the moment. The lightning bugs are everywhere right now flashing away. Pretty as can be, tried to get a picture but not working out. I really enjoy seeing this, makes me smile.
