Next book on the list of several I have stacked up:

Will be interesting for sure. I read a lot. Probably knock down a couple of books a week. Meanwhile, sautéed vegies for the crawfish enchiladas:

    Add the crawfish:

Will work nicely with homemade flour tortillas for crawfish enchiladas. Finish off with some fresh cut strawberries:

    Can't read enough.

Okay, this looks good once it sets for a while:

Will work nicely. Yummy indeed. Next is to whip up some fresh whipped cream for the strawberries. Works for us. Calling it good - then lay down and read a good book.

I saw that book at walmart, half price. Let us know when you get a good book. The food looks good though.

Water still rising on the Vermillion. Here along the driveway:

About two feet from the bottom of the bridge. Folks downriver from me have water under their houses. A perspective on the ridge we live on:

Probably another 10 - 12 feet before the goats have water. This needs to drain off before the next round this week.

instead of springing forwards we sorta flopped forwards. finally got up at what we thought was after 8 but it was after 9 and the morning news was over. Coffee with a groan and we thinking of taking another nap. Tween the doggy keeping us up nights and the yard too soggy to do anything all the fishing holes swollen its hard to get going this morning

We normally get up in the morning at 4:30 during the week, reading time, coffee, etc. Will be tough in the morning. On weekends, the dogs wake us up at daylight. Can't recall the last time we slept past 6:00 am.
