Everyone knows that I back up to pavilion/lodge with the tailgate down with the 90 quart igloo full of iced down Miller Lite It's a given. I share with everyone.

There is beer consumed Cappy. I used to drink a few, but have cut back to about 1 a month. Dr's orders. Though sometimes I think about switching Dr. LOL We know you will act right or I think Peg will give you a pop knot.Just be sure to cook something. We like when Randy has a few, he pays. LOL Joe I will be camping in spot 18(I think). I am gonna get the boat there for sure, we may have my favorite vet with us if he comes alone. By the way, see you next week. How does meeting for lunch at the stockyards sound one day? If you have something else in mind pm me. Will be in your area oct, 4,5,6.

Cappy, if yall are staying there for a month, fish the boat dock 2 or 3 times a day, The crappy move in and out that time of year under that dock. You can catch a bunch on minnows some days.

My Dr. gave me the OK for no more than 3 per day and preferably just two. So I am back in the game...I only drink beer when I go to camps. So a 12 pack will last me a year.

My Dr. said the same thing, and my wife was right there to hear it......so next time I went in the store I grabbed 3- 40 oz. Wife looked at me funny, and I said "Hunny, Dr. never said the size of the container was a factor".....

i was just kind of funning with yall about the beer. didn't mean to ruffle no feathers. I do love a cold beer and for bbqs and ball games I may drink 4-6 cold ones but thats it. I will drink 1 or 2 before supper some days but not always. I do plan to be there but refuse to commit. I planned to be there last year but got called off for a family emergency. I wound up burying my favorite ole uncle that week. So I am scared to commit to coming again.

Finished laying up the slate around the fireplace today in the addition. Will post a picture once trimmed off. In the meantime, ground some coarse sirloin for chili this evening. Only my Ancho goes into this, zero tomatoes:



This is what chili is supposed to be - chili. Simmer for a few of hours, will work nicely this evening:



Calling it good - pooped, up since five (slept in today).
