There is a super walmart in Many, and a small neighborhood walmart in Zwolle. I prefer Market Basket for groceries. Also, there is a new hardware store heading from Toledo Tackle to the bridge crossing the lake. Randy check it out while you are there next week, very well stocked. As far as going to Hemphill, it is a nice ride over the lake bridge and is about 20 miles from San Mig. to the BBQ. The festival is on the weekend and is a hoot.

Hanging around da house today on a short leash to the out house. Gonna spend tomorrow preppin our lil camper and making a supply run. it's high time for stocking it up for the fall winter and spring so its ready for a spur of the moment trip. We have been known to do that. :-)

I don't want yall thinking ya scared me away from TB on acounta the tamale fest this weekend but that was a part of it. We hadda do some banking business and waiting on paper work will put us late but we did manage to begin stocking up da camper and geting ready for the foll0owing week We aint much into crowds and festivals anyways. We prefer to see the lil towns with out all the hoopla. and kinda figured the camp ground would be crowded cause of it anyways. We are getting stocked up and ready though, we always empty the thing for the summer and keep it rigged up the rest of the time.

We crossed the river and dropped down to Laplace running errands then we crossed back to the best bank on 310 and came down to 90 and ate at zydeco's restaurant in Boute. If yaLL EVER FIND YA SELF IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD YALL NEED TO CHECK THAT PLACE OUT. The swamp pop jukebox and shrimp boats in the back its my kinda joint. They even have abita amber on tap.

Anna and I were very happy to take "D" & Mae out to our favorite Mexican Food restaurant today and drive through the old Fort Worth Stockyards area. Our visit was
very enjoyable and we look forward to visiting with them again in February.

Ann picked up a six pack of some microbrew out of Texas today. Thought this was way cool:
