I mowed my grass this morning. Only have a manual reel mower, no motor. Took me about 10 minutes plus another 5 to run the edger around the grass. Man it was hot and sweaty.

Randy, we used to call the one that came around at work either the "lunch wagon" or "roach coach".Man they had some hot sausage poboy's that would tear you up twice. Every week we would swear to never eat another one again, then tuesday would come around... No wonder I have stomach problems.

Looks like the Department of Agriculture is doing some sort of study out here in the country. Saw this on a tree next to the driveway up by the road this morning:

Looked up, and they hung some sort of LSU colored purple box pretty high. Thought interesting:

I guess some sort of infestation is coming our way, don't know. You fellas know?

Good thing that box wasn't painted maroon. Them critters would be plum scared of it

I am trying to find a good cheap beer that doesn't come in aluminum. I like PBR but Peggy is convinced that the aluminum is poisoning me. I think she spends too much time on the internet but oh well I got the qts of bud on sale a 1.90 each but doing the math the PBR's are still cheaper and I actually like them. I pushed only like 3/4 of an acre but I use a small push mower and remember I hafta mow under and around lots of trees and such its quite a chore. 1 thing's for sure I had a great evening. I poored those 2 qts into 16 oz frosty mugs and watched sy fi Friday on syfi channel got a good buz and had left over smothered beans warmed up with a pack of weenies in them. I did this, while Peg watched her animated pez dispensers spout political rhetoric in the other room. I had a ball and at one point felt like letting go with a Tim Allen tool man grunt..... I think I'll call the adventure manly Friday and do it again soon.

Here's a title for your book "Cappy's Simply Cajun Adventures: the good life". Now start putting it together so we can buy it soon. And if it makes it to paper, I want mine autographed.
