We pulled the beans corn and sausage off the pit and we sampled the yrd long beans we Qd. They are very good maybe between BBq asparagus and green beans. We decided they are a great adition to our garden and bbq pit.

me too....and hungry.....that cottage cheese, chopped pineapple, walnuts and banana mixture didn't hold me too long.....but it is such a good summer treat....gonna try another treat tomorrow.....I call it "that pink stuff".....cool whip, cottage cheese, crushed pineapple, mini marsh mellows, and a package of dry strawberry jello mix.....you can add walnuts or shredded coconut or blueberries for a variation.....chill it down before eating.....

I wasn't going to say it after that tough winter we had, but it's HOT outside. At least it's finally dry. Ten hours yesterday and another ten today out in that. That heat will hurt you, A/C feels good right now. I make a point once outside, I don't go back inside, because it makes it worse (at least for me). All outside chores are done finally after the several weeks of rain we have had. I feel much better about that, was getting to me. I need to go to work tomorrow so I can get some rest.
Ann made an icebox pie which will be refreshing this evening. Cranberry juice, whipped cream, and sweetened condensed milk all mixed together and poured in a graham cracker shell. Then into the freezer it went.
