First let me apologize to you if you felt that my post was directed at you, that was not my intention. For that sir I apologize. I'm just a concerned fisherman who has been reading these post for the past several weeks of everyone posting keeping limit after limit. For every one that post I bet there are 10 who don't and are catching limits as well. Contrary to what some on here may believe I am an informed sportsman. My favorite lake to fish is Buggs Island (Kerr) which is in both VA and NC. This lake is still a very good fishery but nothing like it used to be. Several factors for sure but coolers full of fish taken out by allot of people each spring needs to be considered. Same thing in this situation where the fish have grouped up in their winter home. Yes crappie produce allot of eggs but I believe anyone who thinks you cannot over fish them needs to be better informed themselves. Enjoy the resource and be responsible. Best of luck to all.
