That's a great cat, nice big tom. I'll bet that young man is proud, and rightly so.
I have a farm that has an abundance of coyotes and bobcats. I'll shoot one once in a while, but there's so little open area that they're hard to call in and shoot, but I have a nice slough in gasconade river bottom (my property) that is hard to hunt but would probably be easy to trap. How does one get started. I don't know anyone who does it so I dont' really know how to get going on it. I see a few rats around there, but coons, yotes and cats are pretty abundant, and they're putting a hurt on my turkey population. Somewhere I have a very good picture of a coyote trotting past with a full grown turkey in its mouth. Any advice would be appreciated. Maybe send your son up my way to give me some pointers, I could certainly use them.
