Oh and I stated this system is hard wired and not wireless! The reason I went with this is because dirt bags can get wireless systems and log into any wireless camera and see what you can see! I have had my wireless backup camera system on my truck pick up wireless security cameras before just driving down a street in town.

There was an article in the paper where some lady had the camera system set up in her house to keep and eye on her dogs. When she was checking it while at work she seen some guy inside the house stealing her stuff. She called the cops and nabbed them. Some needs to make these thiefs pay. Most of them are trying to support there drug habit.
Damn, that sure is nice. Got me thinking for the new house.
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday

Instead if a static IP, look into a dynamic DNS provider.
Most home routers and webcams are set up to use the system.
Also a lot of the providers will give you 1 free account.
You will get a name "myhomeip.com"
You set up your equipment,
The equipment tells the DNS provider the IP it got from Bell or cable company.
Your equipment will update the dns provider any time it gets a new IP from Bell.
All you have to remember is your domain name
