Took 2 days off to fish

Started out to meet up with Jerky Log get trolling motor and parts to fix my TM then on to Bolivar to fish Stockton with Minnowdipper aka BaitHead. Phone rang about 1pm problem with minnowdippers boat (wrapped around light pole in Bass Pro parking lot broke spindle from axle. OK I says travel back to St. James get my TM ready to go leave out Friday o dark thirty for Bolivar. Pick up fishing partner on to Stockton put in at 123 bridge fish till noonish one drum. Water very dirty never seen it that way on Stockton left great big mud streaks on white boat. Left Stockton went to Bolivar landing on pomme de terre caught five nice crappie right off and one short. Took out so MD could run boy to ballgame went back by self cought one more crappie right at 14in. Fished Sat. till noon 7 keepers lots of shorts keepers all in 14-18 ft. shorts by bank in stickups. Mr. Green jeans could have had lots of fun there seen alot of shorts going into boats even had another guy mention it to me. Wanted to fish Sunday thought wife may object got home she says what are you doing here your not supposed to be home till tomarrow. All in all normal trip for me great meeting Jerky Log and had a great time with a good friend. Still having trouble catching. Looking forward to next adventure.
