    Default Kind of bad

When a man is away from home working and people like to steal your stuff. And I once again will state publicly that our police department in town is totally worthless!

Made a little investment the end of April and we are just now getting the system installed and me tied into it! I can watch it live or even play back for several days!

Dirt bags beware DW ain't going to need to call 911 ever again.

This first picture is of Ms Paula spraying weeds.

Thanks to Mitch Hale for his help and Jay who handles the security systems for Hales Fireworks. Paula and I wouldn't have been able to get such a nice system without their help!

That looks sweet! I had recorder and cameras in Michigan but couldn't watch live and it didn't have that nice and clear a picture.
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday

Yeah I can do lots of things with it even being 300 miles away from home! And it works great at night too!

Looks good Dan. Hope it helps and sure it will make Miss Paula fell a little better staying at the house by herself while you are away.

    Default Night pictures

The great thing about this system is there is no monthly fees! Granted it was hard to get the programing on my laptop because I have Windows 7 but the tech staff was great to work with. I just called them and let them log into my computer and bang it was done. What the main problem for some of you wanting to protect your lake property is you have to have internet service at the lake. The you have to contact the internet provider and get a static ip address. With us living in Springfield, and already having internet service thru Southwestern Bell that process took a couple of days. We already had DSL so the cost of that static ip address was around $25.00 more per month. We are going to upgrade when Paula gets back home after the fireworks season to fiber ap cable into our home and that will cut the cost down per month.

One thing you have to remember like me being 300 miles from home. I have to have good internet service on my end to be able to do all the features of this system.

Inside our home we have a computer monitor and a mouse for the DVR so Paula can see what is going on outside before she steps outside to go to work early in the mornings. In simple words guys DW is now the hunter! I am so tired of the Springfield Police Department not even wanting to come out and take a report. Call me judge and jury if you want, I dont care anymore! Dirt bags have cost me several thousands of dollars in the last few years and its now war!

Darn shame our son who was in law enforcement quit in May after several years of service because too many Dirt Bags were getting let go because of poor judges and poor prosecutors. One of the last cases he had to go to court on a guy wrote a forged check. Our son had him dead to right! On camera doing the deed, our son had a signed confession, the guy was a several time felon and the judge thru out the charges because the victim couldn't get off work for court. If the dirt bag would have been convicted he would have been sent up for several years.

Instead if a static IP, look into a dynamic DNS provider.
Most home routers and webcams are set up to use the system.
Also a lot of the providers will give you 1 free account.

You will get a name "myhomeip.com"
    You set up your equipment,
The equipment tells the DNS provider the IP it got from Bell or cable company.
Your equipment will update the dns provider any time it gets a new IP from Bell.
All you have to remember is your domain name
