Just read a funny PM..........I had i member ask me , why dont ya post some pics.? Then he started to drill me as to what kind of boat, truck tackle ect. i used.
Well heres the scoop..... i dont mind sharing info as to where, what, when, how i'm catching my fish. But i really dont care to share what kind of boat i use. I really dont like for people to search me out. I'm not meaning to sound like a prick, but as i have found from other fishing sites people start to worry (follow) about what i'm doing. my time is limited & when i'm on the water i'm on a mission and dont want to waste it talking) So please take the info i post and use it for yourself.
Sorry if i have offended anybody, but i'm sure most of you will agree. (oh and as u can tell i dont pull punches)
Man have i said how much i love this site.?? I love this site.
    I can tell ya where i catch'em & how I catch'em , but I wont catch 'em for ya !!!

I don't know that most would agree. I think the members on this board are pretty friendly and talking with each other (on and off the water) is part and parcel to the whole crappie.com experience. But to each his own, I guess.

If you're inclined, there are other periodic events (like the Northland Burger and Beer, friendly tournaments at Truman, Stockton, LOZ (and maybe Smithville in 2012?) and the various spring and fall camps) that lend themselves more to visiting. Perhaps that might be more appealing than visiting on the water? Just some thoughts....

    Merry Christmas

I can almost understand not wanting everyone to know what your boat is if you are a big time tournament guy or something. But to keep it a secret because you don't like to talk to anyone while on the water has me a little perplexed? Is your time that constrained that you can't say hello to a member on here while you are on the lake. There is many advantages to having others know what your boat looks like and to be willing to talk while on the lake. You could be down here struggling and run into someone that is doing well that could give you a place to try or a color or whatever it may be that could make a differance. Same goes for someone having boat trouble. Would really suck to be the guy that is to busy to talk or have no one know what his boat looks like when he is broke down miles form the ramp when some one on here would have stopped to help out. But I guess it is your choice either way. Have a great time by your lonesome on the lake during your limited time each trip.

your post really surprises me, you post you are going to hays and pretty bob this weekend and will post results, yet the not wanting anyone to know who you are?????????? kinda strange..... I want other members to know my boat, they have helped me get in before, but then again if you have a perfect never go wrong boat you will fine with your thoughts.........

Situation seems odd... As far as members on here I think we all report on fishing reports for other members to know a basic idea of how to locate and catch some fish for dinner. I guess you dont want people to know who you are so that they wont associate you on the water to this site? Nothing wrong with being a private person, but sometimes being friendly can go a long way in fishing and on this site.

Good luck to ya out there.
