He hasnt had time to attend any of the CDC fall, winter, or spring events and probably hasnt met any of the members yet. I'm sure that once he participates his opinions might be a little different. And if not...then that's his decision too. We're supposed to be one big happy family here. Let's not criticize him to the point that he forgets about CDC and moves on. After all, in his post he does mention how much he loves this site and I'm sure that's something we all have in common.

sometimes when i'm in the captain i say things i wish i hadn't (this could be one of those times), give the guy a break he hasn't posted enough to know what's up, could be a great guy (like the vast majority of you) or not. we'll find out.

I was not going to reply to this post but I just had to share this. In my opinion this guy is suffering from the little dog syndrome. (Get your mind out of the gutter not inferior pen*** complex). We once had a little dog (a pomeranian) that when he met up with a big dog he raised quite a stir so that the big dog would be afraid of him, knowing that in reality the big dog could eat him in one bite.

No big deal he may be a real swell guy, new to the forum, got rubbed the wrong way and had to vent. I know in the end almost everyone on this site will warm up to this guy and be willing to help him out when he is in need, that is just the way the CDC family is. A great group of folks!

Here is a few of his 16 post. Some of the others are not much better. I think most have made their decision already. I would say its time to mellow out a little and see how things are on here. Most people come from other fishing/hunting forums and they are a pissing match on who has what or who does this or that the best. Little different on CDC. That's why the other forums never last or people never stick around for anytime. We will see what happens from here. I think he has figured out the way he worded this thread was not in the greatest taste. Hopefully he will not let this run him off. He may be a great guy to sit around the campfire with at camp. Time will tell.
