I just found out I got robbed. I own a piece of property in a camping ,gated lake developement . I lost a $ 600 foot operated Moterguide,4 tackle boxes,2 white gas camp stoves,a portable downrigger(without the ball),a Lowrance flasher (without the transducer), a transducer for a eagle lcg. The sheriff told me to check the local pawn shops for the items.The trolling moter has a serial number if i find it I am supposed to call the sheriffs office.If i want it back I'm supposed to buy it!!!My own property!!!!.I'm mad as hell,. if I catch anyone on my property now heaven help them.

sorry to hear about your bad luck but that's the way it seems to happen in mo. if they, the law, finds your stuff they will pick through it and take what they want then call you and tell you they may have some of your things if you want to come identify them. i'm sure that happens in other states too. i would gladly buy back some things that were taken from my house. i'm sure they are not far but i'll never see them again.

That's the way it is here in Arkansas. If something of yours is found in a pawn shop you have to buy it back. I know it sucks, but that the law nowadays. Hope you find your stuff. Can't stand a no good thief.

I feel for ya!!!! This happened to me 3 yrs ago in osage county. ASS HATS broke into my dads shed stole a tractor and broke into my gambler taking all fishing equipment..We recovered dads tractor but never got my rods reels and tackle back. Ended up catching one of the perps had to go to court to testify..He got 3 yrs in the state penn I hope his ass still hurts....

Sorry this happened to you....if it's a gated place, how did they get in? Bad thing is, if you find them and beat the daylights out of them, you will get arrested! The only ones with rights now are the criminals.

They got in through the main gate.The security guards are not trained very well.I kept my boat and gas motor chained to a tree, so they took the trolling motor off the front they must have been disturbed .The batteries and gas tank were removed and laying by the boat.I now can't keep anything in my shed(they tore the door off, I put it back on). By they way they also trashed the shed ,they must have been there a while.I hope the sheriff gets them before I do.
