that is a great craftsmanship, i would love to have a step on my skeeter, i actually emailed plano tackle systems and asked them if they could make a tackle box that doubled as a step, all i got was an email back that said they would send it to the marketing department.

I don't think there's a thing my friend Don couldn't build. If I had tried to do this myself, I don't think I'd be posting pictures as there probably would have been duct tape on it.

Just got my Trolleze shipment last night, so hopefully I can get it put in tonight. I've heard a bunch of great things about these, and figured I may as well do some of these things now while I've got some side consulting work going.

In case anyone else has been considering a recessed tray for their foot control.

Addition #2 this week. Trolleze installed tonight. Think I'm ready to fish now, if the rain ever goes away.

That step is awesome!I have a 06 champion and have the same problem. However,I place a modified cooler(minnow bucket) in the slot. Also, ask Don if he would be interested in installing another one and how much he would charge.Just send me a pm.Thanks.

Looks good Dunc. The old man does good work dont he? Now i wont be fallin off the deck. Trolling motor recess looks good also now that you got all the nerves settled over the phone and just cut the hole.LOL
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
