Default New modification to the rig

When I bought the TR-18 the one grip I had was the deck. Behind the butt seat, there was barely enough room for a second person, and a couple people have fallen off of it.

Dropped the boat at my friends house, and he built me an extension and new step that turned out better then I could have imagined. Gained 17" of deck, and the step. Needless to say, it's like a different boat now. This will make it easy for 2 people to fish up front without falling over, down, or in the water.

Very true speck. I haven't even had the boat out since I got it back and I appreciate it.

I'm not getting any younger Beagle. I thought about having him put in a step that raises up to the deck, so when my knees go out completely I won't have to step up.

looks like a good job.....I did the same thing to my last boat (fish and ski ) after my stepson almost broke his leg stepping in the hole....I know you will love it....don't know why boat manufacturer's can't see this problem....

Looks good and that give me an idea. I'll have to take a look at my boat when I get home and see if thats something that can be done on my boat.. Its only a 16 footer but I could really use the extra deck space.
