There is several places to fish from the bank up here. Below Truman dam can be great at times. Lots of creeks that can be good in spring and late fall/winter.

    Robby Barbre
Fish mainly at Wappapello Lake but head to Enid and or Sardis couple times a year. I am a young pup (28 almost) but have been fishing with my dad since I was about 5. He has a 97 gold flaked champion with a 200 mariner on it and we usually fish out of it on the weekends from November to March. If he isn't fishing I'll take my 16' Alumnacraft with the ever trusty 25 hrs mercury on it. I absolutely love to crappie fish and if it wasn't for being a maintenance manager at Burch Foods I'd probably be fishing 7 days a week!!! Anyways if you see us fishing stop and say hi....We are usually on the chaonia end of the lake. Hope to get to know some of you guys!

Well I've been a cdc member since 8/2011 but just found this thread. I'm an old Army brat and veteran that has been fishing for everything since I was big enough to pick up a pole. My first lake was Lake of the Ozarks . I fish now mainly in Kentucky and Indiana. I decided I was tired of chasin Bass and I love eating Crappie, so this year I'm getting into it seriously. Bouhgt a new to me 2005 Tracker PT185Se and getting it ready. I'll post pics of it later. Hello to everyone. This Site Is FANTASTIC!!!!

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jason and as you can tell by my sign on name I am an insurance agent. I live in Ozark and have an independent insurance agency in Springfield handeling personal and business insurance. I grew up fishing LOZ with my grandparents. I still consider LOZ my home lake. I typically fish from November to May. I like the winter time better because I have the lake all to myself. I look forward to meeting many of you. Thanks
