After reading around this site for the past couple months I finally decided to get in on this action. There seems to be alot of knowledge goin around on here and alot of good people. I do most of my fishin with get-the-dm-net who also just joined the site. I live in southaven and fish butla and sardis and as well as those big gills down at lakeview (about a 7 minute drive from the house). I look forward to gettin to know all of yall and sharing some exciting stories. C n' T
Welcome to the Mississippi board....just make yourself at home and watch out for Wannabe.
Why is everybody always picking on me? I'm loyal, will fetch the paper and I haven't peed on the carpet in months.
Welcome CnT.
Wannabe...
A Wannabe Pity Party.
This is just too much and it's gonna bring me out of hiding.
Where's your backbone Man? You feeling run down, stepped on, or just got the iron poor blood?
I'd write a song but I fear to hear it sung. I'll give it a try anyway. Here's the Wannabe as I see him today...
I can't catch no Crappie and my Baby she don't Love me while the newbies just don't understand that I used to be the Man but now I gotta stand up in front this crowd and puff my chest out proud hoping for some respect while I suspect that my day as the one with the fisherman brings no solace so if I could coin a phrase to get me a little praise I'd start by saying there've been better days when I didn't barter tears nor express any fears because then I was was King of Crappie.com and nobody would deny it. Now my Sun has set. Boo-hoo-hoo and whoa is me.
I live just off sardis and fish as often as I can usually several days a week. started trolling last year using crankbaits. I am only 43 and had some serious health problems last year but for now am over them. That only means things I thought meant alot brfore last year mean less now and the things that really are important only matter to me now. I have been doing pretty good trolling catching about 20 keepers a trip.
I is Diamond Dave. I`m from up yonder in the bootheel of missouri, a little town called Portageville. My favorite method of catchin crappies is a minner and bobber, although I rekon I can adapt to any situation. I collect vintage fishing lures and the such. I rekon I do most of my fishin at Reelfoot Lake accross the river from here. I gots me a old dog named Catfish what likes to eats crappie and hushpuppies but aint real fond of onjun rings. My biggest crappie so far is 3 1/4 pounds what I caught at Grenada but wont be satisfied till I gets me a 4 pounder. I plan on making some new friends on here and sharing information with everyone.:p
