Hi I'm Handtied. I'm from Brandon and fish the rez mainly. I do attempt to fish wolf and bee lake also.
I started crappie fishing 3-4 years ago and have been lucky to have a few old timers show me how to get going. I've had a fairly good spring so far with 3 fish fry's and about 250 fillets in the freezer already. I talk to DonDon alot on another forum (He's a really good guy so don't hold it against me)
DD is the one that told me about coming over here, glad to be here and hope everyone has a great spring fishing.
I have been registered here for about 6 months and have never posted but think its about time to start.
How do Jpuck and tied. As Mayor of the MS Crappie.com board it behoves me to inform you both of a few rules. First, you are now required to buy boat insurace. Second, there is a tax levied on all fishing equipment at 5% of the value, including your boat(s) to be paid by April 8 every year. PM me and I'll send you a handy postage payed envelope you can use.
Oh, and tied....I don't think I'd have tolt that about DD right off the bat. Not a way to make friends around here.

Hi fellows, I'm new to Crappie.com but not to fishing. I'm from Collinsville, MS and mainly fish Lake Okatibbee for crappie. I used to just fish tops with minnows, but recently learned a little about spider rigging with jigs and nibbles. Haven"t bought a minnow in a while now. Thank you guys for sharing your tricks and tips with everyone. I can't wait to try some of the new techniques I've been reading about. I'm on disability from the railroad so I've got plenty of time to read yall's posts. Thanks again, Scott.
Hi all...I started crappie fishing about 10 yrs ago and have all but given up on the bass tournaments....stick mostly with the crappie now with just jigs...No spider-rigging and no minnows for me. I guess I can say I'm addicted to the "thump" of a slab popping a jig.
I'm from Macon, Ms. My main lakes are Aberdeen, Columbus, Aliceville, and Gainesville. I take an occasional trip to Grenada or Bee Lake. Nice to be on a "crappie" board now. Look forward to sharing stories and pics.
