Truth????? New engines should be fine!!! For folks that have older motors I will make you feel better!!! At this time take a clean container and place under your skeg. Drain your lower unit and refill it with new lower unit oil specific for marine use. At this time your engines lower unit is protected. If you dont prepare your motor and maintain it properly. Then you can go to the shop and give away your money!!! 3-4 tubes of lower unit grease/oil and your good. If you have an older engine your rolling the dice by just lowering you junk!!! Like papaw said grease is cheaper than new part!! Boy grease all those allemites and you better not miss one!!!

For the record, nothing was intended to lay blame or make it out that BRM did such a thing in real life, business or personal.

I am pulling for BRM way not enough folks selling boats around here!!!! Hang Tough Mr. Bill I know your struggle. It's hard to believe that 40 years ago boats were sitting around bait shops every in MS!!! I wish Big River wasn't across the Big River!!! Talked Mr. Bill once on the phone 2 years ago. He knows his stuff and is a real nice Feller!! I did even hit him with my STATUS here on the Forum!!! I Hope to make it up to visit him soon!!!
