The money you save not dragging a boat will pay for a couple of days of guiding, pressure is on the guide and you get to learn a new body of water and enjoy the trip. Good luck whatever you decide, best advice that can be given is that if you do hire a guide, listen to him. If you come down here then you need to be flexible, 4 GOOD lakes within a hour drive and another really good one another 30 minutes out for that time of year, one of them will be hot most likely.
