Several good guides, but JH Guide Service (John Harrison) is top notch!!!! (662) 983-5999

Vic Finkley is good also. (662) 417-8690

    Carl Painter. (901) 734-7536

John Woods is another great guide in this area. (731) 334-9669 He also uses Warren Cotton and Phillip Coker to help him when he's booked.

    Brandon Fulgham. (662) 417-9117

Depending on your dates, these guys can all catch you some fish. Better book now tho. This spring they Will Be Booked!!!!!!!

Don't need guides if you already know how to fish. Juist follow the boats. Trolling and single pole will be heating up around that time.

Guides can't teach you how to fish in a day or two, but they're the best money you can spend to learn a lake fast, as well as the pattern that's best at the time.

Plus he ask for guide info!!!! I gave him some of the best around.

Knowing where the fish are on a unfamiliar body of water makes a guide money well spent. My experience level doesn't compensate with the vast area of unfamiliar water and a limited amout of time to fish it.

Thanks for all the replies so far. Have contacted a guide for some preliminary info. ( he's a member here ) still in the early stages of planning..... Not even 100% sure where we're going yet , but Miss is HIGH on the list. Thanks again and God bless.

The money you save not dragging a boat will pay for a couple of days of guiding, pressure is on the guide and you get to learn a new body of water and enjoy the trip. Good luck whatever you decide, best advice that can be given is that if you do hire a guide, listen to him. If you come down here then you need to be flexible, 4 GOOD lakes within a hour drive and another really good one another 30 minutes out for that time of year, one of them will be hot most likely.
