You said you can get down to 2.2mph with your plate. You need to be able to pull at 1.5 sometimes.

exactly.....a four stroke with EFI is the only way to go .......... Wilbur what trolling motor do you have? Can you run 1.4 to 2.2 with it ? If you can use it .....if its a 12 volt....you might want to invest and connect two batterys in paralel so you will have more run time.Quote:
