Before I had a Terrova, I pulled with my 90 2-stroke. Never fouled a plug and could pull all day on a couple gallons of fuel. I just don't like listening to that motor run all day.

Well I have to take back what I said about the BnM 8 foot Pro Series Trolling Rods. They felt real flimsy to me compared to my 12 and 16 footers like they didn't have much backbone. I believe I was use to the stiffer rods and my medium heavy bass rods that I had been using in the past. Well, last wednesday the 8 foot PST got tested. It brought in a 5.5 lb striper while the boat was still moving about 2 mph. That rod might bend a good bit but it has a lot of back bone. It had no trouble with the striper. I have been switching out my short rod with my bass rod while pulling for stripers cause i was afraid the 8 foot PST might break. Well I won't be switching them out any more... that rod did great...

Boy love that 4 stroke it sure is quite when trolling.
Good job on that striper DG. Those B&M poles will surprise you sometimes.
Those long crappie poles will sure fool ya.....I have seen some really big trash fish caught on them before.
I wrestled this 20 lb carp in with a 12 ft WM pole, though it took 30 min..
