White was best caught few on pink and black.... they was spread out but when you found them you would have 2 or 3 on at a time.... water temp was running low to mid 70's and water was lil stain'd and trashy but best color i had fish'd this year so far in BIG4/ Mississippi....
Been killing them on bay springs for a month now, they're almost past my bandit max depth now, probably change over this weekend. They were between 15-24' last weekend.

thank you very much Rees Guide
thank you sir
another question if I may ................ what is a good crank bait box for storage? I just bought 3 Okuma Magda Pro 15dx for $100 (new) and have an order for 20 new cranks in several colors and sizes ............ thank you all
ATM thank you sir, those look great, most likely I'll get the 96 hole one, again thank you sir
I prefer this one, holds more baits and takes up less room. They have 2 this size one is a spinnerbait set up and the othe has dividers for cranks, I like the spinnerbait one better. It will hold 180 baits verses 120 in the sae box just different dividers.

I'm so sorry if this has been asked before in this huge thread but....in relation to the 10lb line and depth chart......will heavier line run em more shallow or deeper?
Shallower.
this thread will cost ya $$$$$$$$$ lol its worth it
Yes it will!!!!! and yes it is!!!!!
New question.... I am getting ready to pull the trigger on about 25 new Bandit 300's. Question is....how often do you end up with a spread of all the same baits? After you determine which color they are hitting, go you try to put that lure on every pole? In other words, do I need 6 of each color that I plan to buy?
I wouldnt at first, get 2 of each, maybe 4 of a couple of good colors and figue it out from there. I got one color I leave on at least one pole all the time and every now and then you will find only one thing that works. Want a list??:biggrin
I think it would be great if u posted ur list, and anyone else that wouldn't mind sharing.
I painted several that I'm partial to, such as an electric chicken and a blue with hot pink belly and a black with hot pink belly.
Orange crush, my absolute favorite, stays on one of my poles 90+% of the time along with the blue, the electric chicken and the black to start with.
I dont know the names of them EZ, will take some pics and post em. (maybe):biggrin
Top 3 are go to baits and will start off with them if its early or cloudy, the next 3 are good brite day baits and the one on the bottom is swiftly becoming a go to bait in clear water. http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps1bc5c56b.jpg
I am new to pulling cranks. Been reading all this info. I have a question bout the bandit depth chart. At what speed is the depth chart referring to? I guess that is the question I am trying to ask. Seems to me the faster you pull the baits the deeper it will go. Is that the maximum depth they will go?
Speed should have no affect on the depth. Line diameter, on the other hand....................
Ok next question. Just bought bout 120 bandits from a guy. Bout 60 300s of various colors. 24 100s and 36 200s. Don't really think I need the 100s and not sure bout the 200s. Y'all use the 200s much at all? I realize this madness is just beginning. But thought I might put the 100s and 200s up for sale. What y'all say?
I would keep them all, there will be times when you will want to run shallow, fish may be deeper on one end of the lake and shallow on the other. But if you decide to sell I would be interested.
Can someone tell me the difference between an Okuma Magda 15D and a DX?
the dx is just a little nicer reel for 2 bucks more. go to northwoods wholesale cheapest place to buy them. I just got 4 of them, alot of guys say buy the 20's but im happy with the 15's hold less line that you dont need. the main difference in them is the 20 has a thumb rest on top of the reel. I dont see it as anything major. I also think the dx has a better drag system.
why is everyone so hot on the 20 dx. only difference in the reel is its bigger and heavier and has a thumb bar on top that you never use. the 15 takes less line and is made the same, but most say to get the 20
I would ask the same question cl. I think the 15 's hold 330 yds of 10 lb. I will use 230 of filler then 100+ of good line.
