Thread: And so it starts

Hit an early spring spot yesterday, a canal that is the first place I find crappie every spring. We managed 21 between two of us, most 10-10 1/2 but a few pushing the 12" mark. Baby shad, 1/16 jig under a bobber. Water temp was 49. Found out when we were leaving that a local had hit them hard the evening before so that explains it being a little slow.
