2025 Michigan spring camp

I talked with Diana at Sharp Park Campground and we can start reserving our spots for spring camp. It will be held the first weekend in May, the 2nd-4th. Jeff and I will be there Thursday May 1 and will be leaving Sunday May 4 and will have the 6 man cabin again. We have room for 1 or 2 more if anyone needs a bed. Keeping it simple again. Liars club Friday evening with main course provided, bring a dish to pass and your own drinks. Tall tales around the campfire to follow. Saturday will be a for fun crappie tournament. Weigh your biggest 5 with a prize for biggest crappie. Fish fry about 6, bring something to share and drinks, campfire afterwards unless we have already told all the lies.

They're going to a 3rd party reservation system Feb. 1 but if you reserve directly with Sharp Park before Jan. 20 you save the extra fees that go with the new system. Sharp Park has transitioned to the new reservation system. Anyone who books through the new system needs to enter "Crappiecamp2025" to get a 5% discount. This is good until Feb. 6, 2025.

I or we plan on coming to fish and enjoy the fellowship ,but this year not with the camping, so we hope to see everyone in May

We will bring tater salad and some pop and water for the Saturday fish fry. What can we help with Friday? Also anyone have a close headcount?

Looking like 8 as of now. Hope for a few more to drop by but wouldn't count on it. As far as Saturday, anything to go with fish and fries, maybe tarter and ketchup? Dinner Rolls? Roll of paper towel? Cookies?

I've been working on improving my behavior so hopefully Mrs. Buckeye won't have to scold me again.
