    G,

The first car I ever bought, and still ahve, was/is a 1966 Pontiac GTO.

The original 389 matching engine is on a pallet in my garage, and needs the left bank rebuilt.
It currently has a 400 HO out of a 67 GTO, with the Tri Power mounted on top.

Red, Black interior, Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher Transmission (May be a 21, Its been awhile)

Long story short, The last time I drove it was Valentine Day 1988..............
After that some one broke into my Moms house, (Had to have been some one I knew) and attempted to steal parts, and got a good chunk of them.

It now needs some work both mechanical, and body most likely to be proper roar worthy. However I find that, that young mans dream, is no longer a dream, and more a PITA at times.

Not really sure what I am going to do with it just yet, May be a Retirement sale for cash, and new boat, like Steve, or maybe use it to pay off the remainder of the Mortgage and try to retire earlier than I think I'm going to which, it probably NEVER.

I hear the only way to make a Ford run is to put a Chevy engine in it.......

    Jerry,

You could always put some of that saw dust in your beard. Then drive though Ionia. It would be like a chum line................

Your sure to get SOMETHING to follow........... Maybe she would have her own circular saw, & tools, and probably a bigger beard......... Definitely less teeth..........

You could run that line through Lyons & Muir loop back once for safety purposes.

Hint, if she can bench press MORE than you, RUN, or what ever you Fright or flight preference is.........
Playing dead, and fake "Cant Catch" will only get you hitched........ Don't use those as escape tactics.

Better yet, just don't drive through Ionia.

Keep em or let em go, if you don’t have enough to clean, release them instead of frozen to the ice.

When OE, aka IA, ( Ionia Aaron ) talks about the Tri-cities area, Ionia, Lyons and Muir, I can almost hear John Melloncanp singing "Small Town" and Springstein sing "My Hometown". You can sense the pride he feels and a deep down longing to go back to his roots. Video or no video, I'm sure they would take you back.

You ain't seen scary till you lived in a certain area of the UP.......I got stories and lived through it.

Took a drive with a friend to Jordan Lake to see the ice conditions........open in the middle, outer edge is maybe 2".

Stopped in to Vern's sporting goods......he is pretty stocked up for ice fishing.

I wasn't gone long and I hear Steelguy stopped in for a visit......sorry I missed you John, try again!

With the weather we have headed our way it looks like we'll be on the ice by next week end. Probably could get on sooner but those days are long past for me. I don't want to have to spud my way on and off the lake. I'm working today but I think I'll get the ice fishing gear out of storage tomorrow and get the vexilar charged. Steve, time for a road trip north!
