John you are right, I am very lucky.....maybe spoiled even that I can take a day off when I want as long as I have a day or two lead time to adjust my work.

Yes, I live off M-50 about 3 miles north out of Charlotte, let me know a little ahead of time when you're coming and I'll tie up the guard dog.......he's pretty vicious. Just about tore the leg off the tax man. Kidding, ole Wilbur will about lick you to death.

Thats sucks John. In my job we can carry over vacation days. Anything over the magic number gets lost if not used. Normally not an issue for me but I've had to cover for another person that didn't get hired for the last year.

Jerry, dad and I were talking about that the other day. It used to be that you couldn't give away barn wood. With all these TV shows, it drove prices up more than regular lumber. Sad that I can buy board foot oak cheaper than 100 year old junk.

I had a wood boiler. I switched to geothermal 10 years ago and never looked back. I do like the non electric pellet stove but was looking at it for a cabin only.

Aaron, at last count, I have 12 treestands on my place. I never move them, just buy another. You did remind me that I have to send in my double bull for warranty work.

This was HILARIOUS, during a bad ending to the week, this was my highlight.
(Long Story short, Work sucked last week)

By the time, I was going to reply, things got BUSY.

Then It was the weekend, so many people were talking about their weekend, mine was BUSY as well.

Spur of the moment, the wife and i packed up, drove to Muskegon to see Austin (My Wrestler) & drop a few items to him.

We then left, and hightailed it to Lake City.

I have a friend that is one of the Football Coaches, and the Lake City Trojans are STILL undefeated with a District Title win over Ishpeming - Westwood 25-16, and will face Breckinridge this Saturday for a possible chance to play on the Ford Field for the State Semi finals.

Afterwards we went to the "Tap House" and dinner, and conversation, until way to late.

There is a stark contrast between the local East Kentwood football team, stadium, and community, vs that of Lake City.

Fire trucks were on hand, and lights flashed when the Trojans scored, there was mud on the field, and just a general atmosphere of FAMILY.

After every game, there is a "Family Circle" the players are in the middle of the field. Parents form a circle around the players, join hands, and in unison with the players that all say "Family"

At East Kentwood, kids are to busy watching replays and thinking they are STARS, and no display of unity.

In all, it was a great thing to see, and be a part of, hopefully they will get that Regional Title this weekend.

Then Sunday, I missed a call from Steve, & guess what he was with Jerry. Spoke with them, they were out causing trouble...........

Something about Tom-Catting in Central Michigan, and giving some local girl a cavity with to much sugar......

Monday, I rolled out of bed at about Oh, when ever my muscles did not hurt, and only changed out of my Jamma's to go hunting.

Now I am back to a full keyboard. With my vacation schedule over the next two months, if I "Disappear" its because I am out hunting, etc, my phone is getting weirder, and weirder, and you know, I can type way faster from a full keyboard that that of a tiny cell phone.

OH, and rumor has it that Jerry did not even find that photo of me on the bucket in my Superman Suit...........

I may know who................ I have a STALKER.........
She had better be CUTE!

One of my sisters live in Lake City and my nephew played football there. I have a niece, and two nephews that still are in school there.

All of the community football teams in that area are very similar. Stark contrast between that and down in this area.

I was Coach Kent & His Brother, and their Monther's "Adopted" Son...........

He and his brother are friend's of mine form High school days.
