Yep, that's first cousin to holding her purse.

I mowed the snow today. Mostly I was mulching leaves but also cutting grass in some of the wet areas that haven't been mowed in quite a while. Had to stop part way through and put on a heavier coat and a pair of jersey gloves. Just got in the house and built a fire and grabbed a cup of joe and a throw blanket. Man, did I get cold! Hopefully Knucklehead will want to cuddle and warm me up.

Stormy Kromers wife made the hats with the short bill so he could stick his head out of the train window and his hat wouldn't blow off. Made one for him, then for his co-workers and before long was supplying hats all across the northern tier. Nearly went bankrupt not too long ago but are making quite a come back. I wear mine proudly, even if it makes me look kinda goofy(er).

My son finished working up at the Pellston airport yesterday about noon, said they had 6 inches of the white stuff, seemed to run out of the snow just south of Grayling. I just put the dog out for his morning ritual and I see a "dusting" of snow has accumulated over night.

Snow didn't use to bother me, if I had a foundation in before snow came I'd work out in it. 1990ish we were building a 24 unit apartment in Iron Mountain, every morning first order of business remove all the snow that fell during the night. Now I try to plan winter work inside......work smarter, not harder.

I put a post in the mechanics corner regarding my Trolling motor, got some advice so I tore it apart. It seems there was a leak going on inside the motor and caused rust.....going to try cleaning up all the rust and reassemble. I'll use some of that waterproof sealant when putting the exterior pieces together.

Wife has today off, veterans day, just wanted to say I am eternally indebted to those of you who have served. Thank You!

I'm laughing and refusing to show said photo to anyone in my house. Worst case, I take that fake tree out and use it as camouflage before someone finds it and dicides that the time is right
