Oh and BTW I am not at all opposed to going back down there. Waffle Farms treated us real good. Just check with Fishingcouple about which sites to avoid. :Rofl
Darnit... I was trying to get that post in before it caused anyone hate and discontent. I should have posted a note in the other thread. Sorry Larry.
I think alot of times, the hard part is that the majority of us "have boat, will travel".
Don, I'm thinking of doing the same thing at Hardy. I had a great time dipping the tops of those trees. Seemed like they were in those areas all summer long.
I know Bruin would be a great spot but it just doesn't look like it will work out this year. With that said, we need to quickly find another location so that I can get the ball rolling.
Someone throw a dart at the center of the State and see where it lands! I know where I would go
Hardy is only a half hour from my place, im down with that as well.

And where would that be?
I would go back to Hardy. I don't really have a great reason except the camp ground was really nice (and big), lots of ammenties, the water was great with tons of places to explore, and the fishing was pretty good as well. There wasn't a ton of people at the last outing but the only negative I remember was the fees associated with a vehicle and a boat. If memory serves me, you can buy a yearly pass or we can look at another campground.
That is where I would go. Hopefully, everyone can weight in on this one pretty quickly.
Well you already know that I'm planning on purchasing the Mecosta Co. Parks annual passes, so Hardy would get my vote.
