Al,
Another trick is to puchase a hydrofoil stabilizer. It is a fin mounted to the plate on your lower unit. Buy the one that bolts on. Will help your boat get out of the hole quicker, up on plane faster, and reduce porpoising.

Norm and I tried the river for steelies no fish, but I tried the tad poll rig from Offshore Tackle off the side of the boat, seemed to work the same as trolling. Has any one else tried this? I would like to try it again soon.
Got a Perch fishing trip planned for 8am in the morning. Got rain coming in, hope it holds off till we get done fishing.
I got skunked. Guy next to me got 4. Apparently I had the wrong bait... LOL
Hey alboy. Do you ever go up to hardy? I seen a boat up there bout a week ago that looked like yours
I've been up there, but not with the new boat. I was thinking about a run up there soon though.
I need someone to show me the hot spots up there. I hear the walleye are still biting.
