i have a 35lb thrust motor guide bill dance edition bow mount trolling motor.....i will be out on the lake and after running it off and on for about two hours or so it starts acting like its weak like the battery is about dead. i just got a new marine battery and when i got home it was still at 77 percent charged. when it was acting like it was dead i felt the actual motor casing to check if it was burning up and it didnt feel hot...checked the wireing at the battery it was not hot either....the wiring i have going to the motor is pretty small so i thought it was the wire but if the wire is not hot then i doubt its the wire. i thought it was not carrying enough current for that long of use but it was not hot so i dont think thats the problem... i really think its the trolling motor even though it was not hot. i think it may just be getting worn out. i dont know how old it is or anything i bought it for 50 bucks. ......anyone ever had this problem or could give me any advice.
