The brass splined part drives out towards you as you are looking at the prop on the motor. The plastic part drives out away from you as you are looking at it on the motor. Drive the brass part out first, then the plastic part.

I tried driving it out with a wood dowel no luck, didn't want to use anything metal and burr up the brass. stuck a screwdriver in backwards so plastic handle caught on brass and beat the #^&% out of it. it wont budge???

There is about 6 different versions of the flo torq hub. This is the only one I'm familiar with and as you can see there isn't much to it.

You might try soaking it with PB Blaster, then run it down to your local NAPA and ask them to press it out. When you reinstall, use lots of grease!
What pitch are you going down to? I have a 19 P for a 90 merc. Looking for a 17.
I've got 2 Mercury props 13 3/4 x 15, and a 13 1/4 x 17 I'd like to sell. They are like brand new and I want $80.00 a piece for them. They are flo torque hub props, but I only have 1 complete hub kit for an extra $18.00.
I'm at 13 X 21 now, wanting to go to 13 X 19. my manual says I have a flo-torq III hub. prop I was going to try will not fit my motor putting old prop back on for now.
