    Cool 1989 mercury 15 hp outboard ser# oc117090


    can anyone tell me what model this is?trying to title and got serial # but no model # due to fading degradation of faceplate.any help would be appreciated!!!!!

    Even tho Mercs have model numbers no one uses them except the dealer. Parts are got from the serial no. You might try calling a Merc dealer.

    to get title i need the model # i've looked on the cowl,the engine and data plate but no model #.i can get a parts list by serial# but i need model# for title .thanks anyway Bill.

    If I remember correctly the number is stamped on the freeze plug on the block. Can't remember if they stamp the serial # or model # though.

    linec you are correct the serial # is on the freeze plug on the block but still cannot find model # anywhere ,and thank you and all who replied.

    I was able to find the model no. for you on Merc parts express. It is 1015201GD
