If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.
I borrow a lvs32 from a friend. Its 100% cheating and totally unfair compared to fishing blind. Mixed feelings about it, but no doubt its fun to just put it to them and "video game fish" sometimes.

Does a fat baby fart?
It makes finding fish a lot easier, but when you're on a "level" playing field, that playing field is elevated, just at a higher level.
I fished out 22-23 championship scoping the same fish, and on occasion, deciphering who was going to fish for a particular fish, with another competitor. He got 1st place. I got last. I just couldn't execute the way he did. So yes, it may be "cheating", but once you find those fish, you still have to be able to catch them.

Believe it or not, I haven’t really caught that many fish where I “video game” fish holding a single pole with my Livescope; the majority of my fish were still caught spider rigging like normal but used the Livescope to better tune my depth and presentation overall as well as determine that some locations don’t have fish (or have fish that just don’t want to bite based on behavior) and quickly move on. On initial purchase, it was kinda interesting to just hold a jig out in front of a crappie and watch it attack the jig, though.

Older garmin with ps22 transducer, ice fishing in down mode works well to see two lines spaced about 5 feet apart in the portable ice house, when the Wife and I fish, and there ante must else to do but watch the screen.lol.In the boat not to often, rather boring out in a boat watching a screen video fishing.
I would have driven right past these fish without FFS. I was cruising down a shoreline to get to a set of docks and happened to have the LVS turned at a 90 towards shore from the last dock. Dont know if i have ever hit spot lock any quicker. Filled the livewell in about 20 minutes. I was able to keep turning the transducer and stay on the school the whole time, every cast was a bite.
