I just dont think this would be my style of fishing. I'm a lazy fisherman that loves trolling and watching my rods. Just dont want to "work" for them over a brush pile without the boat moving much. I catch enough fish when EVERYBODY is catching. When it's COLD or HOT outside then I dont have that much desire to go fishing anyway, and I believe that's when livescope really shines.

I’m also a lazy fisherman, and I learned to use my Livescope to watch my trolling rods to understand presentation and fish behavior for an improved catch rate this past spawn. Because of Livescope, I also changed lures a lot more quickly than in the past as well as fine tuned my depths better.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

To each his own I reckon, (and nothing against those who feel differently). But as for me, I have zero interest in knowing any more than where the fish are in their migratory tendencies, and/or, at what depths they are tending to hold and feed. I don't feel ANY NEED, nor do I feel I have ANY RIGHT to possess some artificial ability, beyond that which God has given me to catch fish... perhaps because the love for fishing (for me) is the learning of the skill and the thrill of the hunt, along with all of the failures, bumps, and rewards that go along with doing so. Likewise, I probably won't be interested in the next generation or two of fish catching into the future... when one might be able to just sit at home and send some futuristic AI-controlled truck and boat, or (perhaps) drone, to the lake on its own to fetch, and of course capture video, of as many fish/fish catches as one might program it to bring back,,,, I guess, as long as one is willing to pay the price,,,, and/or provide a profitable market for money-hungry companies who have the technology to provide such unnatural abilities at stupid high prices.

I do pretty well with a depthfinder. Never tried FFS, don't know that I ever will.
