I'll say this & that i love a black/red spinnerbait for smallmouth in bright moonlight & also junebug with red glitter or a redbug baby brush hogs & big plum apple ribbon tail worms. My buddy didn't believe me on the spinnerbait thing until i showed him one bright light night. I gave him the black/red one & i threw black/blue. He was inside towards the bank & i was on the outside. He was catching some big smallmouth & i never got a hit. Then i told him to switch & i got bit on the outside & he never got hit. He wasn't sure yet but after i showed him the second time he always has a black/red tied on in bright moonlight. It absolutely works in my opinion. Now i have to make up some red crappie baits to try.
