Do you use a backing with your Braid?

Thanks, I was kind of thinking 4-6# mono with that 2# braid but wasn't sure. I'll have to google the reverse spool method, I'm not familiar with it. I am familiar with transfering a whole spool, reel to reel, with the same kind of reels to reverse the line. Like with braid, so that the "fresh" tag end tied to the arbor of one reel, would then become the Tag/Terminal end on the other reel after transfer. Not sure if that is what your referring to though.

Put a little piece of duck tape on your spool, so that the braid won't slip.Then fill it up with as much braid as you want.Next attach and wind on the mono to the perfect level on your spool.Next transfar the whole thing onto another reel that has the same size spool.
